GiClee prints are a high quality, high resolution print that we are offering on paper or canvas. The canvas prints come on a stretcher with black printed around the edge and flush mount hangers and wire on the back so that they can be hung without a frame if the customer desires. They will be signed and numbered on the back of the stretcher where there will also be a signed and numbered authenticity card containing the story behind the painting and a short bio of the artist.

The paper prints are produced on a heavy cotton rag, acid free watercolor paper and shipped with the same authenticity card. The paper prints are a little less costly to produce but will have to be framed in order to hang them.

The prices on this site are for the canvas editions. If you desire a paper print instead of canvas just apply the “paper print coupon” which will subtract $30
from the price of the print.

All of these prints are part of fairly low edition sizes ranging from 150 to 225 prints. When an edition is sold out it will no longer be available.

The Tellico River has its origins in the Unicoi mountain range near the Tennessee – North Carolina border. Holly and I had stopped in several places along the river to walk among the rocks along the water’s edge on a beautiful autumn day. Suddenly, late in the afternoon, the sun was at the perfect angle to shoot these rays through the fall foilage and light up the water in the middle of the stream, in these warm fiery colors. At the same time, the color of the water in the shadows of the rocks remained a deep blue green. The contrast of the colors in the water was so stunning that I knew I had to paint it.
