About the GiClee Print You're About to Purchase (Click to expand)
GiClee prints are a high quality, high resolution print that we are offering on paper or canvas. The canvas prints come on a stretcher with black printed around the edge and flush mount hangers and wire on the back so that they can be hung without a frame if the customer desires. They will be signed and numbered on the back of the stretcher where there will also be a signed and numbered authenticity card containing the story behind the painting and a short bio of the artist.

The paper prints are produced on a heavy cotton rag, acid free watercolor paper and shipped with the same authenticity card. The paper prints are a little less costly to produce but will have to be framed in order to hang them.

The prices on this site are for the canvas editions. If you desire a paper print instead of canvas just apply the “paper print coupon” which will subtract $30
from the price of the print.

All of these prints are part of fairly low edition sizes ranging from 150 to 225 prints. When an edition is sold out it will no longer be available.

In the summer of 2004, we spent some time near Watauga Lake in Tennessee. This large lake has approximately 147 miles of wilderness shore land. We rented a pontoon boat one day and explored many of the coves and inlets. Part of the day we followed this egret and watched him as he balanced on this log. The title doesn’t just refer to the egret. I was also fascinated with the balance of sunlight and shadow on the water, as the sun got lower in the sky.
