GiClee prints are a high quality, high resolution print that we are offering on paper or canvas. The canvas prints come on a stretcher with black printed around the edge and flush mount hangers and wire on the back so that they can be hung without a frame if the customer desires. They will be signed and numbered on the back of the stretcher where there will also be a signed and numbered authenticity card containing the story behind the painting and a short bio of the artist.

The paper prints are produced on a heavy cotton rag, acid free watercolor paper and shipped with the same authenticity card. The paper prints are a little less costly to produce but will have to be framed in order to hang them.

The prices on this site are for the canvas editions. If you desire a paper print instead of canvas just apply the “paper print coupon” which will subtract $30
from the price of the print.

All of these prints are part of fairly low edition sizes ranging from 150 to 225 prints. When an edition is sold out it will no longer be available.

Spring is my favorite time of the year because of all of the activity in nature. There are signs of new life and new growth everywhere but nowhere on a greater scale than in our swamps and wetlands. For years I have watched the red-winged blackbirds squabble over territorial rights at this time of year. I was originally attracted to this idea because the reeds and grasses had a woven involvement that was very abstract, but with the real textures of our environment.
