About the GiClee Print You're About to Purchase (Click to expand)
The paper prints are produced on a heavy cotton rag, acid free watercolor paper and shipped with the same authenticity card. The paper prints are a little less costly to produce but will have to be framed in order to hang them.
The prices on this site are for the canvas editions. If you desire a paper print instead of canvas just apply the “paper print coupon” which will subtract $30
from the price of the print.
All of these prints are part of fairly low edition sizes ranging from 150 to 225 prints. When an edition is sold out it will no longer be available.
Killdeer are quite plentiful in northern Pennsylvania in the spring. They will often lay their eggs in gravel or open fields. One day I got a call from a friend who had found a clutch of eggs in the stones along the edge of a creek bed. I got to observe the mother's activity around the nest for several days before they hatched. The stones were incredibly varied in color and texture, yet the eggs blended in so well that each day I had a difficult time spotting them, even though I knew where they were.
